Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The function actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, across financial and non-financial risk taxonomies. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Vice President Risk Regulatory Reporting, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
Responsibilities:
The jobholder is an individual contributor that has primary responsibility in managing and facilitating effective risk committees in HBID as well as lead a high quality and timely production of risk related regulatory reporting. The jobholder also involves in the implantation and oversight of ESG/Climate risk activities that support to build a sustainably profitable business and enhancing HSBC reputation and brand.
Information
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
· Established experience in enterprise wide risk management across multiple business lines, with proven expertise in at least in one Risk domain
· A high level of professional competence to drive risk based solutions, capable of assessing risk trends, with proven financial acumen
· Strong understanding of cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both a strategic level and at the business line level
· Ability to collaborates with various business partners to enable execution of the strategies
· Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at the senior level in the organization
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to clearly articulate strategy and the case for risk management in the language of business
· Highly proficient of business writing both in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must
