Global Legal plays an important role in protecting the Group’s reputation by helping to future-proof the organisation through robust legal risk and issue advisory. Responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice to senior management and all global businesses and functions, the team offers a diverse range of legal skills, jurisdictional experience and practice specialisms across all countries and territories in which our businesses operate.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our COO team as an eDiscovery Case Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in advising on electronic discovery (eDiscovery) strategy and coordinating the end-to-end eDiscovery process for the Litigation Department. 

This position involves leading and advising on eDiscovery strategy, overseeing document hosting and review vendors, and managing discovery projects. You'll collaborate with litigators, internal counsel, outside counsel, business and technology contacts, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of discovery processes.

In this role, you will:

•    Serve as the main point of contact throughout the discovery lifecycle, managing day-to-day case details among all collaborating parties. Coordinate with internal attorneys on high-priority and time-sensitive requests, conducting key searches, analyzing documents, and providing summaries of critical communications.
•    Support by working closely with attorneys and outside counsel to coordinate document review workflows, leveraging Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) and analytics-based tools. Whilst assisting in data culling and filtering strategies to optimize document review efficiency and minimize costs.
•    Liaise with legal teams, IT, cybersecurity, and business units to ensure proper data identification and collection. By coordinating with third-party vendors, tracking service deliverables, costs, and quality assurance for eDiscovery projects. You will also prepare case presentations, status reports, and metrics tracking for senior attorneys and business leaders.
•    Assist in the development and maintenance of eDiscovery playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials. Monitoring emerging legal, regulatory, and technology developments affecting eDiscovery and data governance.
You will also Participate in strategic initiatives to improve eDiscovery automation, cost management, and workflow optimization.
 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive experience in eDiscovery case management, litigation support, or legal operations.
•    Strong knowledge of eDiscovery processes, EDRM framework, and data management best practices.
•    Familiarity with document review platforms 
•    Excellent project management skills with the ability to track multiple cases and meet deadlines.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills to engage with legal teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The base location for this role is London or Birmingham with a hybrid working pattern.
