Corporate Services Technology, within the Enterprise Technology organisation, provides technology leadership and partnership for the Business Risk and Resilience and Real Estate (formerly Corporate Services) business functions. We are currently looking for an experienced IT professional to join the Business Continuity and Incident Management Function as a ServiceNow Innovation Strategist.

 

The ServiceNow Innovation Strategist is a pivotal role in the team.  The role holder will be partnering with our business stakeholders, technology team and ServiceNow vendor to ensure that our portfolio of Business Continuity and Incident Management applications is developed and managed in line with both Business and Technology strategies. The role holder will also be operating on the cutting edge of the ServiceNow product capabilities to understand how new features and processes can enhance our applications.

 

In this role you will:

·         Maintaining a good working knowledge of ServiceNow product features with an understanding of how these could enhance our BCIM applications and/or the working practices within the POD

·         Providing recommendations to the Product Owner and BCIM Technical lead – to include any financial, governance, architectural and resource considerations

·         Embedding new functionality/processes within the POD – including demos/workshops on the new functionality; overseeing development/testing/release; ensuring any user training requirements are catered for

·         Embedding a UX culture within the POD – every decision should be made with consideration for our users

·         Attending relevant BCIM Working Group and Design Authority meetings

·         Building effective relationships with our ServiceNow vendor and conducting regular meetings to discuss ServiceNow capabilities vs. BCIM requirements

·         Participating in ServiceNow/BCIM co-design workstreams

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

·         Experience of working in a Global Technology organisation, overseeing the implementation and management of ServiceNow applications and product features

·         Knowledge of the ServiceNow GRC module, particularly IRM (Integrated Risk Management), Operational Resilience and BCM

·         Experience of working directly with vendors and maintaining effective relationships with them

·         The ability to understand complex business processes and how applications can be configured to support these processes

·         Experience of working in Agile teams

 

This role is based in Sheffield and offers hybrid working.
