We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Digital Market Activation Lead

 

In this role, you will:

 

·       The role holder will work with Global Digital Product Owners and other delivery areas such as Value streams, regional IT and is actively engaged with local Digital teams and their business stakeholders, to ensure digital change is embedded.

·       Proactive leadership of a portfolio of digital initiatives highlighting and taking action to mitigate risks and issues, ensuring deliveries are on time and to quality standards with minimal disruption.

·       Accountable from initial engagement through to ongoing feature enablement providing digital change consultancy services to a market(s) and supporting all business readiness activity.

·       Ensuring markets are fully equipped to undertake all business readiness activity associated with an individual release of new features (including training, communications, operational impact assessment, procedures, MI, release approach etc.)

·       Accountable for facilitating delivery of local training to markets (contact centre/network) to support releases.

·       Management of staff pilot activities to ensure that digital features are successfully rolled out to customers.

·       Accountability for ensuring local market benefits are met through tracking and reporting of feature performance in market.

·       Leadership accountability for the development of a team of Digital Market Activation Managers who will support change activity for all product delivery.

·       Definition and implementation of people strategy for creation of professional high performing Market Activation community including development, training and accreditation with robust approach to performance management in conjunction with peers across the function.

·       Leadership accountability for all recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career development for a team of Digital Market Activation Managers.

·       Accountability for robust planning activity across the Market Activation function to optimize use of resources between teams.

·       System interface with Value Streams, Digital Product Managers and the Business, with particular focus on ensuring the teams are aligned and the business is aware of progress.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

·       12+ years of experience in business analysis and most recent experience preferably in the banking and financial domain.

·       Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and design thinking skills with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects.

·       Agile expertise, requirement life cycle management and traceability, experience in digital transformation projects in a global banks/consulting firm/ Financial industry

·       Strong Domain experience in some (mix)/all the domain areas– Domestic & International Payments; Wallets; Virtual Accounts; Debit Card based Payments, Settlement & Recon; Card provisioning; Card Tokenization; ISO20022 Migration, Impact of AML, Fraud, Sanctions checks to payment use cases – Retail Banking Payments specific preferred

·       Managing/managed Customer channels experience – Mobile Banking App and/or Browser Front End analysis experience

·       Experience of navigating through multiple layers of stakeholders in Business, Tech, Ops – multi-country experience preferred

·       Experience of managing Discovery (Requirement elicitation sessions); Definition (Refinement of requirements); Backlog grooming; Prioritization; Solution Design analysis

·       Adapt and adhere to the HSBC’s ways of working and collaborate with array of stakeholders effectively and inclusively and liaison with cross functional team for programme execution.

·       Experience in Change management and Change Adoption processes - Plan and implement change intervention to enable smooth transition and embed changes and transition to business as usual, from requirements gathering, communications through to training the final user.

·       Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills.

·       Knowledge of MS Office and business analysis tools and techniques, knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools.

·       Create required artefacts and to expected standard (e.g. Behavior Driven Development (BDD) in user stories, end-to-end flow diagrams with touchpoints, Confluence documentation for requirements traceability).

·       Demonstrate Leadership, support, coaching and development for Analysts.

·       Lead planning analysis activity with optimal use of resources to help define and track metrics and KPIs for the product.

·       Promote the “Scaled delivery” approach for multimarket implementation and use of customer, product, and operational procedural insights to optimise experience and propositions.
