Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.  

The overall purpose of the role is to oversee and manage HR User Acceptance Testing practices with specific accountabilities for Cross Service and Core HR UAT

In this role you will:

•    Be responsible for setting out HR standards and guidance for User Acceptance Testing inclusive of supporting template guidance and tooling and MI for BAU and entry/exit criteria and programme teams 
•    Work with Programme and project test manager at key stages to ensure that appropriate test approaches are in place, pre-requisites met for each programme and work with project managers and scrum masters to address gaps
•    Be responsible for test oversight, test plan and execution for HR and Cross Service Testing for BAU Changes and vendor releases; ensuring that changes the HR systems have been successfully user acceptance tested with the correct stakeholders (and documented) prior to being migrated through to Production environments, with any workarounds knowns and agreed
•    Work closely with Group HR IT Release Management team; HR Global Service Owners delegates and their respective Subject Matter Experts; IT HR Leads; and HR Operations Team Leaders
•    Responsible for developing effective relationships with other HSBC functions aligning to influencing internal best practice 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Expertise in end-to-end UAT project management 
•    Strong knowledge of testing best practices 
•    Implementation experience of Core HR, Payroll or Service Management technologies 
•    Awareness of Accessibility consideration to be taken through both design and test.  
•    Ability to drive triage to work independently to manage issues and provide the necessary and relevant details to the development team 
•    Familiarity with test automation tools preferred
•    Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment 
•    Knowledge of data models and system integrations
