Department- Wholesale IT
In this role, you will:
- Overall project planning, monitoring, tracking, controlling and status reporting
- Overall test planning, test execution and test delivery
- Overall scope and timelines definition
- Overall Stakeholder co-ordination
- Ensure that testing is completed within estimated time and budget
- Overall resource planning (numbers, skills, and training) and work assignments
- Overall responsibility for adherence to relevant organizational processes
- Inter-team co-ordination to achieve the objectives of the project
- Cohesive integration of test and development activities
- Requisition of hardware and software for test environment
- Providing test support to the project as a whole
- Review and publish test metrics
- · Use of metrics to support continual test process improvement
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- More than 12+ years of IT experience of which at least 5 years in test management. Sound understanding of software development and software testing lifecycles
- Worked using SAFE/ AGILE methodology. Experience in test planning and management
- Good at all planning aspects including people, infrastructure, and schedule. Understands manual testing techniques and automated testing best practices
- Familiar with test program concerns including test environment and data management. Expertise in software testing tools including test management tools and defect tracking tools like QC and JIRA
- Knowledge of automation tools is desirable especially on TOSCA and xFramework. Experienced in AS400 is preferred. Should have worked on large/flagship programs like Upgrades, conversion, migration, clustering etc.
- Experience in implementing mechanisms to ensure greater effectiveness and efficiency in testing. At least a high-level understanding of the application business area and application requirements. Functional expertise in the banking and finance domain
- High-level understanding of the relevant technology domains. High degree of interpersonal and communication skills. Result orientation. Leadership traits, Flexible approach in dealing with people and situations
- Consulting orientation mentality, Exceptionally high level of maturity. Good decision-making capability.
