The job is accountable to ET Global Business (GB) / Global Function (GF) and ET Regional CIO for ensuring effective delivery of IT services in the country. They are the primary relationship owner with the regional business, acting as a trusted advisor offering advice/support to GB/GF country Business, ET Regional CIO, and GB/GF COO to define and assure the country GB/GF Technology portfolio and IT service.
As our USA Head of Enterprise Technology - PG&C (People, Governance and Communications) you will be:
· Responsible for providing support to Regional CIO when necessary, on matters relating to relevant regulatory and Board relationships at regional level
· Responsible for collaborating with peer Regional Heads, GB/GF Business, and other senior IT Personnel to implement GB/GF goals in region within entity, policy, expense, regulatory constraints, in line with Technology strategy, priorities, and budgets
· Responsible for leading and influencing the GB/GF IT Team to meet functional goals in the region, and oversee delivery of the portfolio to time, cost, and quality targets
· Responsible for ensuring that all regional demand is captured and effectively prioritized within the GB/GF global portfolio and provide input towards GBGF strategy at regional level
· Responsible for global portfolio governance ensuring transparency over status of aligned to GB/GF global delivery into countries
· Responsible for delivery of GB/GF IT Transformation, Agile and DevOps adoption in country to realize savings as per targets in partnership with GB/GF Business and ensuring deliverables are supportive and in compliance with target state architecture
· Responsible for coordinating activities required to mitigate service issues and ensuring resilient, high-quality services are being delivered within the country maintaining the agreed service performance (e.g. service SLA, MTTR, etc.)
· Responsible for driving implementation, governing risk responsibly, promoting ethical management of risks, managing issues within or impacting the country, communicating changes in policy and governance effectively, and ensuring in country regulatory processes and procedures are adhered
· Responsible to the Regional CIO and GB/GF CIO for IT direct cost and charges to GB/GF Region Business and manage the country allocation of the global budget for all programs
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $141,300.00 and $211,900.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
· Minimum 10 – 15 years of IT Management Experience with preference of banking / financial background
· Ability to manage applications and resources
· Work closely with both US and Global IT Senior Mgmt on budgets, incident handling, regulatory country requirements
· Management of contractors including Purchase Order / Invoice management
· Experience in managing Cyber vulnerabilities
· Experience in managing Evergreening demands / managing risk of operating on the unsupported software/ hardware components
· Management of supply / demand and budgets. Working closely with business leads on funding
· Experience with Agile ways of working, working closely with Agile leads and IT managers on capacity planning
