The Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to drive governance and operations for WPB Risk Analytics. This role will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and special projects for WPB Risk spanning people, processes and technology infrastructure. Additionally, the role will contribute to the People Plan by supporting career development initiatives, people initiatives, and engagement strategies for the function. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, risk domain knowledge, and exceptionally strong leadership skills to shape the analytics operating model, strengthen governance frameworks, and ensure alignment with regulatory, business, and strategic priorities. The incumbent will work closely with global and regional stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that enhance decision-making, improve performance, and maintain the highest standards of risk governance

What you’ll do:

Risk Governance & Operations:

  • Central coordination point for WPB Risk Analytics strategy, planning, and execution large sub-function
  • Database creation and maintenance for all people metrics thereby helping manage performance reviews, and people/position/cost tracking for senior management.
  • Prepare and monitor the WPB Risk FRP ensuring alignment with central CAO teams and Regional CROs and Analytics Heads
  • Forecast models for Ring Fenced financials - Submission of CAPs, preparation of white papers and presentation to ExCo and CAP board for approvals
  • End to end management of SD Static, employee billing and recharges – mapping to cost centers, correct entities, business partners, etc.
  • Job Codes, Job Family, Business Framework maintenance to help drive any questions related to org design and span of control

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and internal partners across WPB Risk and R&C CoE
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of innovation, inclusion, and accountability
  • Develop and execute communication strategies for WPB Risk Analytics, ensuring alignment with broader risk and business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance to IGSA and Service agreements - Overall housekeeping of Delivery Services on Service Catalogue for WPB Risk Analytics

People Plan & Talent Development:

Support the execution of the People Plan for WPB Risk Analytics, focusing on career development  and engagement.
Report KPIs related related to cross-functional rotations, talent mobility, and upskilling within the function.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to enhance career growth opportunities and retention strategies

Analytics Program Management:

Responsible for all aspects of Program/Project Management including but not limited to Credit Decision and Regulatory (Basel, IFRS9, Stress Testing) Model Development, Strategy Development, Tools & Technology, Regulatory Analytics, Climate Risk - covering entire life cycle i.e., model build, development, validation, documentation, and governance including project milestones tracking, communication with stakeholders, conducting PWG, PSC, Technical meetings, etc.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PMI-ACP, PSPO, CSM preferred with tech skills - expertise in JIRA, Dev Ops, Agile is beneficial

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • 15+ years of proven experience in Analytics, Governance, COO supporting roles, or transformation leadership within financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex, cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder engagement with strong knowledge of the people, processes and systems
  • Prior experience working in a Risk Management role or equivalent Risk and Control role within a Businsess
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills and be able to perform multitask under pressure, to meet challenging deadlines, whilst retaining a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate and work effectivley with senior business leaders across geographies and functions. Ability to drive change and provide positive influence to achieve organizational goals
