We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Wealth Planner.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• To be a part of the Wealth Planning team providing comprehensive wealth structuring guidance to clients of HSBC Global Private Banking in Hong Kong
• To advice high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and implement succession planning solutions working with both in-house and external service providers
• To collaborate within the wider Wealth Planning and Advisory team to facilitate the cross-sell of HSBC’s overall legacy capabilities
• To monitor trends in the wealth planning industry in the respective regions and communicate necessary changes
• To provide training to relationship managers and other internal stakeholders, and work on other projects as assigned from time to time
• To maintain close relationship with intermediaries in the wealth planning industry

To be successful you will need:

• Degree holder in law, accounting or finance, preferably with accounting or law qualification
• Sound analytical mind and strong self-motivator
• Collaborative team player, who can work closely with different business partners and stakeholders
• Excellent inter-personal skills with direct client experience on trust and insurance matters
• Able to work independently and detail oriented. Highest levels of ethical standards and integrity
• Good writing, presentation and public speaking skills
• Willing to travel for business
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, Cantonese and Putonghua preferred
