We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Wealth Planner.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- To be a part of the Wealth Planning team providing comprehensive wealth structuring guidance to clients of HSBC Global Private Banking in Hong Kong
- To advice high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients and implement succession planning solutions working with both in-house and external service providers
- To collaborate within the wider Wealth Planning and Advisory team to facilitate the cross-sell of HSBC’s overall legacy capabilities
- To monitor trends in the wealth planning industry in the respective regions and communicate necessary changes
- To provide training to relationship managers and other internal stakeholders, and work on other projects as assigned from time to time
- To maintain close relationship with intermediaries in the wealth planning industry
To be successful you will need:
- Degree holder in law, accounting or finance, preferably with accounting or law qualification
- Sound analytical mind and strong self-motivator
- Collaborative team player, who can work closely with different business partners and stakeholders
- Excellent inter-personal skills with direct client experience on trust and insurance matters
- Able to work independently and detail oriented. Highest levels of ethical standards and integrity
- Good writing, presentation and public speaking skills
- Willing to travel for business
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, Cantonese and Putonghua preferred
