We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Research Marketing Asia.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • To lead for EMEA Region in all aspects of Research Marketing activities, with a deep understanding of all HSBC Global Research products and services and adherence to all of compliance and regulatory practices
  • Requires a close working relationship with analysts and our Global Investor Access teams, regular collaboration with global research management, product management, analysts, supervisory analysts, and Research Compliance
  • Proactive coordination with Research Marketing colleagues in the US, and Asia, and with trading and sales in Global Markets
  • Research outreach to key stakeholders in our Corporate and Wealth businesses to facilitate the delivery and dissemination of investment research to internal stakeholders, and clients of HSBC encompassing our Institutional, Corporate and Wealth franchises
  • Take an active role in ensuring the commerciality of our research and maintain an ongoing dialogue with users to ensure feedback is acted upon on a timely basis
  • Understand and adhere to both the letter and the spirit of all laws, regulations and regulatory guidance that apply to the role, promptly reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures
  • Maintain sufficient and effective processes and controls identifying and mitigating risks and ensure timely escalation and resolution of all control issues and reputation risks
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Deep understanding of Research products and services and related compliance and regulatory practices
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong collaborative relationships across Global Markets to help stakeholders to use and access research products and services
  • Experience in working with a multi-location team, adapting to regional requirement whilst maintaining a global perspective
  • Strong communication skills, and experience at leveraging content through different channels including social media
