We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an IBMi Asia Production Services Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Take the leadership role in the team to define global IBMi standard Production Support tools/processes/practice in line with global strategy and direction in order to maximize the benefits as well as the strategic impact of the defined standard
  • Lead the team to provide IBMi 24 x7 global production support, manage the changes in implementing the strategic solutions through its design, implementation and transition into ongoing production service
  • Identify and work on initiatives for process efficiency and service improvement projects to achieve effective and efficiency (Process. FTE, sustainable saves). Drive process improvements and cost efficiency initiatives as well as to communicate on new enhancements to enable understanding and maximizing the uptake to drive benefits
  • Manage the onboarding of new and enhanced solutions to ensure the compliance of both service acceptance criteria and existing service requirements. Emphasize on ongoing service process governance and End-to-End environment delivery management to enable service quality are met
  • Manage overall daily communication with the CEP Management, local Management, stakeholders, business users and customers
  • Enhance the ongoing production service to increase customer satisfaction. Establish and enhance resources capacity demand view to facilitate group domain resources planning to deliver a smooth and effective service
  • Establish and enhance Key Performance Indicators to measure and report service levels against targets. Govern the process, infrastructure and software standardization to minimize exceptions
  • Functional reporting to the Head of IBMi Operation in CTOi – Enterprise Infrastructure, Core Enterprise Platform
Requirements

To be successful you will need:

  • University graduate with a degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline with strong working experience in Finance or IT service industry
  • Strong leadership and management ability, with good employee motivation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain global and regional relationships at all levels
  • Proven IT and operational experience, with a strong client service record and a service delivery focused mind-set
  • Able to articulate a challenging strategic vision and motivate people to achieve related goals. Strong relationship management, risk or operational skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the capability to deliver a change program whilst also managing an important, growing customer facing ‘run the bank’ service
  • Solid planning and organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize competing demands. Experience of working in a highly-matrix environment
  • Able to lead the team to manage incidents during odd hours
