We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Data Analyst.

Data plays a critical role in helping our Business deliver excellence to our customers.

This Lead role within the UK Data team is critical to helping deliver the UK Data Strategy and will provide the opportunity to help shape the way that Data is delivered to help maximise business outcomes and value.

In this role you will:

• Lead the function of Data Analysis within the WPB Data technology team, defining and embedding best practise and fostering a collaborative & consistent approach
• Support the delivery of complex transformation program development within data portfolio.
• Partner with Business and Data & Analytics teams to understand use cases and establish clear & simple approaches to data delivery & consumption
• Take a lead role in engagement with direct consumers and other WPB value streams
• Work within, and coach, agile multi-skilled teams to create world class products to serve our customer’s needs.
• Understand the “user” journey end to end which goes beyond the “system”.
• Provide advanced business knowledge and technical support for requirements development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong background across the UK WPB technology and business landscape
• Experience in data analysis using different data technologies to uncover trends, anomalies and insight 
• Cloud platform experience – AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Experience of delivery via Agile methodologies
• Analyse and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
