 Department: - MSS-Securities Financing Tech 

 In this role, you will:

• Develop software for the SSV Post Trade business, with a focus on an application called Global1 and its related suite of products and services.
• Be able to work effectively autonomously and within a team structure, being able to manage time effectively, and meet critical business deadlines. 
• Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, both within the business and in technology. Predominantly you will be communicating with business users in HK / KL and London 
• Supporting business critical production systems and ensuring that production comes first.
• Solve multiple and wide-ranging technical problems, quickly being able to come up with robust solutions. 
• Work with a wide range of different technologies, including scripting and coding languages as well as cloud based technologies. 
• Collaborate with teams across the Securities finance department. 
• Build, develop, improve and maintain the SSV post trade product offering using technology.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experienced professional with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in IT as a Developer
• Possess core technical competencies of an experienced back-end developer (Java/Springboot/SQL/Unix etc)
• Knowledge of Global1 application (not essential)
• Basic to Intermediate experience involving development and testing of Perl and Linux scripting language is required.
• Basic understanding on Python is required.
• Strong desire to learn and develop new and existing skills. 
• Be able to communicate effectively to both peers and senior management.
• Be Self-motivated and proactive to solve issues, complete assigned items of Book of work and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Understand Dev Ops / agile way of working. 
• Experience working with dev ops tooling to help continue to improve our ability to automate
