Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class wealth and personal banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Marketing Manager, Retail Products Marketing.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop effective programme strategies and mechanics to drive personal loan growth for different customer groups/segments via different channels
  • Maintain high standard of marketing and communications, and deliver activities that adhere to the established marketing process and guidelines
  • Support campaign development to ensure smooth implementation, and facilitate evaluation and review for continuous improvements
  • Perform analysis of targeted products / segments, competitive position and trends
  • Support marketing budget management to facilitate effective deployment to enhance return on investment
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and effective coordination for the rollout of initiatives
  • Demonstrate teamwork through positive approach and develop a close alignment with both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • University graduate in business studies with a background in marketing is preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally has worked for a banking/financial institution with involvement or a good understanding of credit card
  • Sound knowledge of advertising production and marketing communications and practical experience in digital marketing is a plus
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Creative, self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Experienced in liaising with external business partners and suppliers
  • Possess hands-on PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and high proficiency in written Chinese and English
