We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist .
In this role, you will:
- Work with application team and participate in the analysis of the PayOS requirement. Participate in the design and development for the application of PayOS. Support transforming the current PayOS applications and solution aligning with our elevated Architecture. Support the operation of the Global Payments Solutions (GPS).
- Follow internal DevOps principals. Coordinating with ITPMs and Architects. Involve actively in the design of high-level and low-level architecture design of On-premises development, test, staging and production environment
- Resolving all the technical and process blockers for cloud migration/Adoption. Ensuring right amount of various testing (functional, performance, Security etc) is performed
- Closely coordinate with Architect on architecture design. Be accountable for end to end delivery of infrastructure (though coordination), business logic and integrations for Cloud migration programme
- Building trusted relationships with business & IT stakeholders. Working with the key stakeholders to understand emerging customer needs and opportunities, and new projects.
- Be able to understand complex business requirements, new technologies and be able to influence teams to adopt new practices. Be capable of making complex decisions and resolving escalations. Problem solver, Understanding of system design to implement for reliability using appropriate logging, altering and monitoring mechanisms. Experienced in managing and influencing complex stakeholders at all levels within IT and the business, plus building lasting relationships
- Strong influencing, written and verbal communication skills. Leadership experience, including managing a team of IT resources. Background in Agile and the adoption of best practises.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in JVM tuning and diagnostic for application troubleshooting and performance-optimization
- Must have skills - Core java, Springboot,API's and Microservices, UNIX shell scripting, REST API, Kafka, Docker, Oracle database SQL.
- Experience in monitoring and observability technologies like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
- Experience in Scheduling tools like Control-M
- Hands-on in SQL
- Knowledge in Payments business will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and think out of the box.
- Hands on experience on App security, memory management and threading mechanism and maintaining code quality.
- Hands on experience in fostering a strong engineering culture in an agile and DevOps environment
- Track record of identifying and implementing opportunities to enable engineers to develop more productively and with high quality
- Good communication skills, be able to talk to a variety of stakeholders including senior membersNice to have some knowledge on Google Cloud, Amazon Webservices or Azure Cloud adoption of large-scale platforms related to Payment’s processing.
