We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery Head.
In this role, you will:
- 16 + years of hands on experience in DevOps around on prem & cloud technologies
- Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
- Identify & Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
- Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure inline with HSBC standards
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs within automation framework
- Able to define automation, deployment standards & guidelines
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Incidence management and root cause analysis
- Sound knowledge on Docker, containerization
- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Mentoring and guiding the team members
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
- Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience working on Linux/Windows based infrastructure
- Excellent understanding of Python, APIs, Shell scripting
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- Well versed with Agile framework and high performance culture
- Proven experience in software development, IT operations, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible, GitHUB
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proven experience in BI/Data projects over Cloud & on-prem technologies like GCP and associated tool-stacks
- Strong proven skills in Big Data Ecosystem including Hadoop and Cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL, Analytics and Business Intelligence Reporting
- Good knowledge of Operations and Frontline activities in the Financial Industry context
- Recent exposure to end to end solutioning and delivery of large initiatives supporting Cloud Deployment of applications
- Experience of architecting and managing production environments across Physical, Virtualization and Cloud technologies for on-premise and cloud deployment topology
- Excellent knowledge and Hands-on experience in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, Alibaba Cloud) and Private Cloud (VMware, Cloudstack), and its migration path
- Experience on provision tools (Terraform and Ansible), Kubernetes, EKS and CICD pipeline. Achieved Solution Architect and DevOps certificates on at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP
- Technical know-how on JWT token setpu under Springboot setpu and CICD deployment.
