Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)

Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

 

                                              

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

Communicate with proposition teams (e.g. RBB, cards) to identify internal business demand and how Partnership could contribute to achieve proposition objectives
  • Capture both internal and external demand and communicate with business development and corporate development teams to shape/shift partner engagement focus
  • Originate and design partnership proposals identifying market digital insights and work with senior management across markets and functions to prioritize initiatives and projects
  • Review and evaluate new markets and products, strategic business partnerships, merger and acquisition projects etc
  • Analyze the financial performance, identify the business opportunities and risks and interpret to the senior management
  • Develop and review business case to communicate recommendations with senior management
  • Work with the senior management across functions to prioritize and implement strategic initiatives and projects

    To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

      
    • 3~5 years of experience of  in business development, strategic planning, or consulting, preferable in ASP market
    • Master's degree or equivalent preferable
    • Speak and write fluent English and Mandarin
    • Excellent knowledge in internet products & service and internet industry landscape in ASP as well as globally
    • Knowledge in Digital banking and Fintech trend & landscape, and understand how the emerging technology impacts the current and next generation of financial service
    • Be able to identify creative opportunities with partners, and translate these opportunities into execution approach and strategy
    • Excellent sense in consumer value and digital experience as well in business viability of such new experience
    • Experience of working in internet companies and multinational firm is preferred
    • Experience and track record in successfully leading/landing partnership deals in ASP
    • Ability to design, lead and execute analysis and communicate insights
    • Ability to problem-solve individually or in a group setting
    • Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
    • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams
