Here in France, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. Part of the global Responsible Investment (RI) Team spanning across 4 locations - Paris, London, Hong Jong and Birminghman – you will help HSBC Asset Management raising its RI profile and meeting its related regulatory commitments through optimizing its involvement in numerous ESG initiatives or also through upskilling our investment teams.

What you will do:
Supporting the Global Head of Responsible Investment Relationships, you will contribute to oversee, monitor and assess the relevance of the multiple global ESG commitments and Initiatives HSBC Asset Management is involved in.
You will also help disseminating ESG knowledge across our investment teams with particular emphasis on our international offices: Turkey, Taiwan, India and Mexico. Helping with the upskilling of our US office and other operations will also be part of your remit.
In this role you will:
- Develop ESG training programs targeting international offices above
- Assess the relevance, level of risk and broader accuracy of HSBC Asset Management’s ESG commitments and initiatives
- Create content and hence support the preparation of ESG governance bodies and committees
- Assist with the creation of a monthly ESG/RI communication and information forum: “RI Connect”
You should apply if you have:
- Strong communication skills: oral and written in both French and English (full proficiency)
- Needless to say you are curious and rigorous
- You also have a flexible mindset and can cope with mostly challenging and sometimes changing deadlines
- You have a strong and proven interest for ESG, evidenced at the very least by a first RI/Sustainability/ESG experience acquired within an international asset management company
- A master’s degree (min) in areas like Finance, Economy or Political Sciences is a pre-requisite
- You are at ease with Office suite of tools, PowerPoint and Excel essentially. You are also open to the use of emerging AI-related techniques
