Financial Control

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Finance Data Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Execute data management frameworks (i.e BCBS239), policies and methodologies to comply with the data governances and controls;
  • Develop and maintain data processes and lineages of reporting metrics;
  • Work with reporting SMEs and IT for the data quality rules implementation;
  • Investigate and remedy data quality issues and process failures
  • Coordinate with various Finance teams in Group / Region / countries, IT teams and other GB/GFs for any data management initiatives;
  • Lead, plan, manage and monitor the data management remediation projects;
  • Support Finance CDO to conduct the audit's fieldworks;
  • Perform the BaU works for BCBS239 and data policies;
  • Develop and maintain the operational instructions for the data BaU operations;
  • Advise and collaborate to reporting SMEs on change activities which involve data sources, affect data processes or impact data service provision;
  • Update the data governance progress in data forum;
  • Perform other ad hoc duties related to data management;
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Admin, Accounting & Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in banking and finance areas with at least 2-year experience in data governances and controls
  • Good understanding of data-related issues and its implication to financial reporting in a Bank;
  • Good knowledge in finance reporting, finance systems and data processes are in advantages;
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills;  
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal;
  • High attention to detail with ability to understand and assess complex and large volumes of information
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to build and maintain relationships;
