Role Purpose

The purpose of the WPB  Egypt - Global Transformation Lead role is to support delivery of the committed WPB business outcomes within Value streams being supported out of Egypt site.

The role would also be accountable for end to end site management of the WPB Global Transformation team in Egypt.

Principal Accountabilities:

The key tasks will include some or all of the following:

  • Lead Egypt WPB Global Transformation Center ( GTC) Team with direct responsibility for recruitment, project allocation and talent development. Inspire, motivate and drive the team.
  • Provide leadership oversight to team on developing, planning and delivering of capabilities across markets supported out of Egypt in partnership with  key delivery stakeholders.
  • Develop deep understanding of Value Stream / Sub Value Stream that team is working on; complexity of work and challenges being faced and resolve blockers to ensure consistently high quality of delivery.
  • Create an inclusive, fair and transparent environment which engages and energizes everyone in team. Help the team achieve their full potential by  actively encouraging continuous learning.

  • Align with broader GTC Value Stream structures and ensure efficient utilization of Transformation capacity to achieve the objectives of the Value Streams being supported out Egypt.
  • Support relevant WPB leadership teams to review and refine resource requirements within Financial Resource Plan and work towards meeting demand in a timely manner.
  • Ensure embedding of Agile and DevOps principles and best practices especially with context to new Ways of Operating for value streams supported out of Egypt.
  • Ensure Fair and fact-based differentiation of performance and behaviours within team.
  • Ensure embracing of new Ways of Operating (WOO) working closely with key Value Stream leadership.
  • Be a champion towards embedding Change Framework, Agile and DevOps principles and best practices across GTC.
  • Manage and execute Program Delivery across multiple priority initiatives guiding the teams on overall delivery , setting up right governance ,taking strategic decisions, operating at an executive level and managing sponsor and business relationships.
  • Support Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product’, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimizing risk during deployment.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Functional Knowledge:

  • Transformation Delivery experience as a Program Manager – especially in leading and delivering large transformation engagements

  • Adept in agile, having practical work experience in delivering complex programmes following various agile methodologies

  • Exposure to Portfolio Management, Planning and Budgeting

  • Good techno-functional background, comfortable talking to Business and Technology stakeholders


Certifications in Agile – SAFe, Project Management, Design & Initiation, Change Management are desirable



  • Proven SME with strong experience of leading Multi Market Transformation Initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder / Sponsor management and internal communication skills
  • Experience of working with Global and Regional teams across different time zones
  • Experience in resolving conflicts and negotiation
  • Values driven thought leader with high bias for execution
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good to have Experience/Understanding of Change Framework and Agile Methodologies
  • Inspirational people management skills
