- The candidate will join an Agile pod that builds, maintains and supports software for the Securities Lending business line.
- Responsibilities will include creating and using UI themes for web applications, implementation of these on screens and connecting with the service layer along with backend for web applications, development of service layer and implementing new micro services.
- Ensuring requirements for each feature are gathered correctly and built, keeping UX and performance in mind.
- Re-architecting the UI and backend modules to make them modular in order to increase release cadence.
- Supporting the infrastructure and applications that you work on. This is a DevOps role and will include L2/3 production support responsibilities too.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Passionate about technology and the advances in it, constantly looking for opportunities to learn new things and bring those ideas to the team.
- Expert in core and advanced Java 8 and higher.
- GCP Cloud SQL, GCM VM, Networking, MIG, Logging, Cloud Fusion, Terraform, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Docker
- Expert in debugging code, doing analysis, etc.
- Should have knowledge of Spring boot.
- Expert in REST API and should have developed API’s from scratch.
- Must have expert knowledge of microservices.
- Basic knowledge of Jenkins or any CI/CD tools.
- Mandatory to have knowledge of full stack development cycle.
- Some UI Design experience - creating logos, themes, fonts, bespoke buttons etc.
- Good understanding and applicative knowledge of ES6 features
- Basic knowledge of ReactJS, NodeJS & Redux experience -basic knowledge of react hooks, lifecycle methods etc
- Hands on experience programming in HTML 5.0 and CSS3.
- Ability to speak English as a first language, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Speaking with business users in London and HK is an integral part of the role.
