We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Assistant Vice President - GAC WPB AOC DATA ANALYTICS.

Principal responsibilities

The role holder will focus on using Data & Analytics to drive business activities and outcomes that improve or transform in the International and Retail Banking area:

• Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and perform data cleansing and integration.
• Design and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to develop and optimize models and algorithms for investment and wealth solutions, providing customized solutions.
• Analyze and interpret data in the investment and wealth solutions field, providing key insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the IWS team, understanding their business requirements and providing data analytics support and solutions accordingly.
• Analyze and interpret data in the investment and wealth solutions field, providing key insights and intelligence to the IWS team to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies in the field of data analytics to ensure the D&A team remains at the forefront of innovation.

• Possess 8 to 12 years’ experience in one or multiple skills in data / business analytics in the financial domains.
• Experience in the investment and wealth solutions field, with a strong background in data analytics.
• Proficient in data analysis and statistical modeling, familiar with tools such as Python, R, SAS or SQL.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking, able to translate complex business problems into data analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with market and product knowledge in the investment and wealth management industry, relevant certifications or degrees preferred.
• Good English communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with domestic and international teams.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
