We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Human Resources – Business Analyst 

Work Location- Bangalore/Hyderabad/Gurgaon/Kolkata


The Opportunity:

HR Business Analyst will be responsible for managing key actions around governance and risk monitoring across DBS and Global Functions. Core tasks are:

  • Partner with Global HR Business Partners and COE leads to ensure proper identification, quantification and representation of HR Risks
  • Champion People risk and promote HR FIM by embedding requisite processes, methodology, skills and knowledge required to effectively manage risks in DBS/ GF
  • Setup process for managing HR COO Financial management activities such as AOP, Budgeting and Cost base
  • Setup reporting mechanisms to enable all leadership reporting and representation in global forums


  • Enable People risk stewards and owners by creating systems and processes that enable -
    • Proper evaluation of key people risk metrics (conduct, culture, capacity and capability)
    • Design and publication of data packs that enable Identification of Top and Emerging risks
    • Support Risk stewards for submissions in relevant governance forums (e.g. Risk and Control Meetings, Risk Management Meetings)
    • Challenge HRBPs in areas of identified risks and mitigation activities
    • Support implementation and monitor mitigations identified to minimize residual risks
    • Effective resolution of identified issues by internal and external audit
  • Support relevant global and group governance forums by accurate reporting of people risk activities in the DBS and Global Functions; Ensure escalation of critical people risks within the HSBC Group Risk Framework
  • Interface with the Group HR Risk team and ensure DBS and GF is compliant with all group mandates, and policy changes are implemented appropriately and timely in the region
  • Enhance People Risk Stewardship capability for the function by driving awareness and knowledge of people risk systems and Non-Financial Risk Management procedures; Act as the SME for all People Risk related topics
  • Works with the Reporting & Analytics team to meet the function’s reporting needs
  • Drive and monitor HR Transformation projects, to ensure no disruption to current services, effective future TOM design and timely implementation for the region
  • Gradate or postgraduate in Human resources or relevant field
  • experience of 5+ years in HR
  • Experience as an HR Business partnership/ HR Consulting/Organization design
  • Good Knowledge on the Risk & Control /Enterprise Risk aspects is required, preferably in Human Resources function
  • Should have worked on AOP, data analysis & reporting within Human Resources function
  • Good understanding and knowledge of tools such as Excel (prefer Advanced)
  • Ability to identify emerging trends, interpret data, and draw insights limited till advanced excel only
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams, peers, senior management and business stakeholders
