We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager Jr - Migratios

Role Purpose:

To manage all the activities of assigned migration & remigration projects for a Group Service Center towards achieving cost effective, efficient implementation of processing work being migrated from HSBC businesses across the globe.  Ensure delivery of high quality service within Service Level Agreements to predetermined critical timescales, in joint collaboration with Operations, Central Migrations team, Group businesses across globe and GSC functions in the assigned site.

The GCO team is split into four distinct sub-functions:

  • Monitoring & Threat Detection (MTD) – Monitoring, detection, alerting and triage of initial cyber-threat events.
  • Incident Management & Response (IMR) – Management and deep-dive investigation and response to cyber-incidents.
  • Information Protection & Response (IPR) – Management and response to information and data security incidents.
  • Strategic Innovation & Operations (SIO) – Continuous improvement of cyber-threat detection capabilities and process automation.
  • Critical to the success of GCO are its close partnerships with other Cybersecurity Global Defence teams including Cybersecurity Engineering, Service Reliability Engineering, Cyber Intelligence & Threat Analysis teams and the wider HSBC businesses and functions.
  • The overall GCO mission is placed under the purview of the Cybersecurity Chief Technology Officer / Head of Cybersecurity Global Defence.

Main Activities:

  • The job holder shall be responsible and accountable for project managing assigned migration projects for a specific and assigned Group Service Centre, which shall involve comprehensive planning & implementation of the business migration plans and regular review of progress of the assigned migrations via Global Resourcing Migration Governance (GRMG) before hand-over to Operations team.
  • The nature of the role requires effective communication and liaising between members of the team and with other department/functions, to enable seamless support to meet the ambitious and aggressive migration plans for a specific and assigned GSC site, which involves implementation of a wide variety of processes from HSBC Group companies.
  • Work with Central Migrations team towards ensuring that the Migration Planning Execution and Governance (MPEG) tool is most up to date with latest migration plans.
  • Communicate and engage with BP on the onset of any new migration for relevant information, statistics & metrics prior to migration activity.
  • The position involves close co-ordination with Operations, HR, Training, IT, Compliance and Finance teams to ensure timely escalation or resolution of any business constraints in achieving the assigned migration plans for GSC site.
