We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Risk Controls Officer - HBCN WPB NFR UTILITY.

Principal responsibilities

Operational Risk Management Assistant Manager is responsible for monitoring the current regulatory control monitoring approach is aligned with the Operational Risk Management Framework.

  • Ensure the Compliance Framework are operating effectively on the key processes including thematic reviews.
  • Acting as Compliance Regulatory subject matter expert (SME) by ensuring Operation Risk Management Framework.
  • Support the wider risk management in term of governance and reporting.
  • Reporting and presenting to Onshore Senior Manager for the status and the Compliance Regulatory Review.

    • Fulltime College/Graduation from recognized universities with 1 to 2 years of experience.
    • Good understanding of operational risk and controls preferably gained through experience in front line and/or risk roles.
    • Good understanding of the Group’s Operational Risk Framework, Regulatory environment and business context.
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
    • Good command of written and spoken Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) and English.

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
