We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within multiple disciplines or a fast changing discipline
- The role requires a sound understanding of a value unit / product / region / legal entity, alongside a good understanding of the industry and the challenges and changes in the sector.
- Covers a wide range of activities that require evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated perhaps novel situations
- Is proactive in developing ideas, continuously searching for improvements in techniques which add value to the business and has full responsibility for implementation.
- Implements business plans through own team and is accountable for results
- The role requires the ability to guide, persuade and influence others through the developed skills of communication and diplomacy.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience in data architecture, modelling, and database design, including experience with star and snowflake schema.
- Strong expertise with Databricks Notebooks, Unity Catalog, and building scalable data pipelines using PySpark/Spark MySQL.
- Extensive experience in Power BI design, report creation, and administration, including transforming data models into optimal Power BI schemas.
- Hands-on experience working with multi-terabyte data sets, optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI governance activities, including managing user access, setting up security roles, and enforcing best practices across the platform.
- In-depth understanding of ETL processes, and data warehouse architectures.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and data solutions.
- Strong experience with data governance, security, and compliance practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data lakehouse architectures and modern data engineering practices.
- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and advanced analytics using Databricks.
- B.Tech, MCA, or MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields is a plus
