We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Test Manager - ASP CMB COO OFFSHORE TEAM - CHINA.

Principal responsibilities

Work with business and risk to plan and oversee testing, testing methodology and ensure a risk based and business driven approach.

  • Oversee the design and maintaining automation script suites of delivered functionalities and ensure it aligns to the overall testing strategy.
  • Create metrics related to the project effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain Test Strategy.
  • Documenting test results by raising defect tickets and creating reports.
  • Work closely, communicate and plan with BA, PO, PM and DEV.
  • Ensuring testing strategy and implementation in context with the business and risk requirements of a programme.
  • Manage QA of testing in context of business and risk.
  • Contribute to the improvements of the testing process and automation frameworks as part of the wider QA & Test Community.

Proficient in clearly determine QA objectives and standards by analyzing requirements

  • Broad experience of testing types, including; unit, functional, non-functional, regression, exploratory, UAT, ad-hoc and compatibility testing.
  • Understanding of credit & lending business and risk.
  • Be able to work with IT dev teams to translate business requirements and understand business risk.
  • Be able to create an end to end testing strategy.
  • Working experience of Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work un-supervised and takes initiative to manage his / her own workload.
  • Proficient in synthesizing Business Requirements that lead to effective and optimal outcomes.

MUST have skills

  • Working experience as a Test Manger/Lead Tester.
  • Experience in Test Team management.
  • Experience with process coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of testing microservices.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
