Global Markets is part of our HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking division, a markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Transactional FX Solutions Specialist, Asia.

Principal Responsibilities

Work with the existing regional and global Transactional FX (TFX) team to effectively execute the growth strategy in Transactional FX in APAC and Globally. Driving volume, profitability and strategy awareness through client acquisition, marketing, and relationship management (internal & external) efforts.

In this role you will

  • Help to define and provide input the regional sales strategy for Transactional FX in the region
  • Drive internal stakeholder product awareness of TFX solutions to generate internally lead client acquisition
  • Work with existing GPS & GFX sales teams, originate new TFX client relationships and increase market share
  • Help to achieve increased wallet share and client satisfaction for existing TFX client relationships
  • Ensure delivery of a cohesive, market leading service to clients providing feedback to TFX product development
  • Lead or contribute to strategic projects and initiatives across Asia.  Perform product gap analysis, and contribute to global product development roadmap
  • Work with Head of TFX Asia and TFX Product Owner to prioritise initiatives and deliveries for Asia
  • Conduct teach-ins and raise awareness of TFX solutions across Asia and within global TFX team
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Comfortable in a start-up environment, pragmatic, proactive, entrepreneurial
  • Ideally good understanding of FX, Payments, APIs and related technology
  • Experience within a multi-stakeholder, multi-buying group sales environment
  • Track record of effectively selling and implementing enterprise solutions front to back
  • Proactive thinker, problem solver, with the ability to create apt solutions
  • High level of self-motivation and team player with the ability to perform in a high-pressure environment with limited supervision.
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration across businesses
  • Some understanding of local and global regulatory environment
