We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Manager HR Resourcing and Onboarding.

Role Purpose
The role holder will support the country Resourcing and Onboarding function to provide proactive recruitment and talent sourcing strategies, covering all aspects of hiring for the Bank from executive, specialist, volume, graduate and internship programmes; to variable and contingent hiring.
Principal Responsibilities
Impact on the Business/Function
- Jobholder will support Manager HR Resourcing and On-boarding in managing the Bank’s recruitment activities.
- Jobholder will handle and act as the central contact point for agreed Outsourcing Vendors including career fairs.
- Manage and monitor vendor Key Performance Indicators.
- Support Managers in the business to deal effectively with people issues by providing customer driven advice and guidance to customers on complex enquiries relating to all Recruitment and On-boarding Services.
- Provide advice and guidance through a range of channels, e.g. case management tools, click to chat and telephone, balancing face to face contact as necessary.
Customers / Stakeholders
- Deliver outstanding customer service to employee and managers including Senior Executives where appropriate
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert in matters relating to Recruitment and Onboarding, i.e. Resourcing governance, Recruitment Process, Reporting.
- Support communication initiatives such as HR roadshows, and Recruitment-specific projects, training and cascades to keep stakeholders apprised and updated on people-related governance.
- Key stakeholders:
- Clients from within the business at all GCB grades (People Managers and Employees)
- Specialist area teams and external service vendors as needed
Operational Effectiveness & Control
- Use the ServiceNow tools to manage queries effectively, ensuring case details are logged accurately and no data or privacy risk concerns
- Maximise recruitment tools available to support recruitment activities.
- Escalate any queries/issues of a technical or specialist nature that are outside own knowledge/experience
- Work closely with the relevant teams (i.e. Outsourcing, Procurement) to ensure that documentation is in place evidencing control of third party vendors.
- To be able to demonstrate adherence to and maintain HSBC internal control standards relating to compliance, data submission and use of IT systems/HR record systems
- Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology

- Ability to communicate with good interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relationships and work out solutions.
- Developed presentation skills with strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience in leading/executing projects or programmes.
- Practical experience in Recruitment or relevant Human Resources experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand complex situations and provide clear guidance and, where necessary, challenge to others.
- Accurate and detail conscious, able to quickly spot errors in data and gaps in information, confidently seeking clarification and explanation.
- A proactive self-starter with a “can-do”, customer focused approach who can learn quickly from experience.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
