We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an AI Senior Digital Product Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define the vision, roadmap, and business case for AI-powered conversational agents in WPB
• Identify and prioritize use cases enabled via AI agents 
• Align AI initiatives with HSBC WPB’s strategic objectives

Delivery Execution

• Drive delivery execution in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams (product, channel, technology, data, risks and compliance, UI/UX design etc.)
• Manage and prioritize proactively the backlog translating business needs into clear features, epics and user stories, including technical requirements
• Oversee the design, training, and optimization of AI agents
• Ensure human-like, intuitive, and compliant conversational experiences

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Product teams to co-define how Agentic AI can support the commercialization of Retail banking products
• Work closely with AI engineers & data scientists to fine-tune LLMs, NLP models, and chatbot performance
• Collaborate with Core Banking teams and Data & Analysis teams on system integrations (APIs, data flows)
• Engage Risk & Compliance to implement effective guardrails and protections on use of AI against any potential abuses, legal, compliance, regulatory or reputational risks
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., conversational AI platforms, cloud providers)

Go-to-Market & Adoption

• Develop launch strategies (POC ? Pilot ? Phased Rollout ? Scaling)
• Create internal training & change management plans
• Monitor customer feedback, complaints, and AI performance metrics for continuous improvement

AI Domain Leadership

• Stay ahead of emerging AI trends (Agentic AI, LLMs, GenAI advancements)
• Ensure HSBC leverages cutting-edge NLP/NLU, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities

Digital Product Management

• 5+ years in digital product management
• Ability to bridge technical and business needs
• Proven experience in working in Agile environment and tooling (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Interpersonal and Soft Skills

• Ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels
• Proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups
• Strong thought leadership and creativity to proactively propose new business opportunities

Strong analytical and presentation skills

• Excellent at navigating differences of opinions
• Energetic, positive attitude and team player

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
