The Opportunity:

• Client Operations is a part of Global Asset Management which deals with performance of funds under various asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income) and is measured across security, sector and country. Along with this it also deals with analysis of the performance so as to decipher the source of return. This is achieved through various tasks and processes such as signoff, Detailed attribution reports, Index reconciliation and Market value and position recon. It supports various regions across the globe such as UK, US, Hong Kong, Canada and Saudi Arabia 
• The ideal candidate needs to have good understanding and experience of and firm grasp on performance measurement concepts. He/She will have good understanding of investment performance, performance reporting and other reconciliation activities related to performance measurement. The candidate should be able to handle the responsibilities independently and take end to end ownerships of the deliverables. He/She needs to have good communication skill and aim to build good rapport with stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

Impact on the Business/Function [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS]

• Manage a team of performance analysts to strive towards achieving excellence in performance measurement and reporting.
• Deliver fund performance and attribution analysis as per the SLA’s.
• Motivate and inspire team members to perform their best and upskill the team members by providing training and guidance
• Answer ad hoc queries related to fund performance and benchmarks
• Plan the resources to manage the priorities as per the busy business days and complexity of work
• Manage the stakeholders by having a constant line of communication and proactively considering the issues and plan for key risks and developments
• Work closely with the wider AMG team and stakeholders to suggest process improvements and increase the efficiency of the process.
• Manage the priorities across different tasks by liaising with stakeholders across different geographical regions.

Leadership & Teamwork 

• Leadership team involves Head of Client Operations who will foresee that the deliverables are being met with the appropriate quality parameters.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Post Graduate degree holder with 12+ yrs of experience in Performance Operations function
• Strong knowledge of financial products
• Good understanding of asset management.
• Ability to interpret risk and return ratios.
• Understanding of performance measurement and attribution calculation
• Good understanding of net asset values, fund size & corporate actions.
• Proven ability to work accurately within tight deadline, and ability to collaborate with colleagues
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proactive and positive towards change
• Hard-working, organized and diligent
• Experience of 10+ yrs plus of managing a team in asset management function
• Experience of working or knowledge on Market Data provider like Bloomberg and rimes
• Good Microsoft office skills.
• Understanding of SQl queries will be added advantage
• Connect regularly with stake holders to find out key issues and ensure smooth functioning of process.
• Display the characteristics of a leader as well as a good team player.
• CIPM certification will be an added advantage.
