What you will do: 

In this role you will:

• Support one or more Global Relationship Bankers on a defined portfolio of clients within Nordics Banking 
• Collaborate with others across Corporate & Institutional Banking in order to manage the clients’ global relationships   
• Origination:  Identify marketing opportunities, undertake appropriate analysis and preparation of proposals, presentations and pitches for new products and services 
• Execution: interact with clients and various product teams in order to ensure smooth execution in a timely manner 
• Client engagement: establish strong relationship with the portfolio of clients  
• Financial Analysis: Develop an understanding of clients’ financials in order to assess the capital markets needs and the credit strengths / weaknesses 
• Client Materials: Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for clients 
• Sector knowledge: Keep up to date with the markets and the sector developments to support business development, portfolio management and credit risk assessment  
• Collaborate with product and country teams 
• Portfolio management / HSBC Strategy: understand Corporate & Institutional Banking internal return hurdles and identify opportunities to reduce Risk Weighted Assets to enhance relationship returns


You should apply if you have: 

• A sound understanding of the financial markets
• In-depth quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with financial analysis capability 
• The ability to undertake in depth review of industry, competitors, clients and products and provide a high-quality analysis of credit risk 
• Experience in developing marketing materials (pitch books) is a plus 
• Demonstrated capacity to build a network of contacts, both internal and external, in the context of interactions with colleagues and clients 
• Sound negotiation and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
