We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Associate, Global Corporates, LLC

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Being Global Relationship Banker for a portfolio of Malaysian large corporate clients, working to deliver sustainable revenue from this client base.

  • The role will comprise delivering on targets and continuous development of their relationships in order for HSBC to become their leading international bank over time.

  • Responsible for broadening and delivering enhanced ancillary business streams cross products and geographies.

  • Responsible and takes ownership for the credit relationship with the client base.

  • Manage financial crime risk within the client base.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in front line relationship management role.
  • Ability to gain substantial business form the Group across a full range of products.
  • Track record of building & developing long term relationships including at key decision maker level for all clients.
  • Understanding of risk management and credit mitigate.
  • Ability to undertake in depth review of industry, competitors, client and products and provide a high-quality analysis of credit risk.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong financial analysis capability, accounting or finance degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework and Basel III accord.
  • Knowledge of KYC procedures and requirements.
  • Ability to develop good working partnerships with credit and product areas.
  • Business development skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with appropriate members of client’s management team.
  • Ability to research and develop themes for business meetings.
  • Knowledge of the full spectrum of products and services within CIB.
  • Knowledge of HSBC Group organisation structures, credit and reporting systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player.
