We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Vice President, Financial Crime CMB and GBM and DBS and Function.

Responsibilities:

• The primary role of the role would be to provide oversight on business and function on Financial Crime Risk component, including impact analysis of regulatory changes, driving coordination and execution of the various Financial Crime Compliance work streams and assurance while ensuring alignment with Global Standards
• The individual would need to need to stay at the forefront of key regulatory changes from Financial Crime perspective to ensure proactive communication with business and develop appropriate policy and framework to manage the changes, particularly extra territorial changes
• The role requires strong partnership with business and functions to drive and accelerate the execution of Financial Crime program that directly impact business and functions.
• Understand the nature and importance of key business process information needed to provide review and challenges for key control areas including material issues or event for FC risk in business and functions.
• Follow and ensure that the process requirements are met, adhered to, completed in accordance with established procedures and standards set.
• Work well independently, complete assigned tasks in the established timeframe as per the process benchmarks

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Degree or diploma qualify in Law/Accounting/Business/Finance and related academic qualification (added advantage with certification from International Compliance Association (ICA) or Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS)
• Sufficient work experience in AML/CFT advisory
• Possess strong product knowledge
• Possess strong writing and analytical skills
