We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate Vice President/ Vice President Asset Liability Capital Management Reporting and Climate Risk Stress Test.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily, monthly, quarterly and half yearly ALCM function reporting, ALCO, ASP Reporting in the timely manner while constantly designing and implementing the process to ensure efficiency.
  • Control the ALM model to ensure the assumptions made based on FIM and perform validation the regular basis.
  • By monitoring asset liability distribution and maturity to ensure prudent risks approach and escalate potential issues through ALCO forum that may impact balance sheet structure.
  • Establishing and refining funding cost, and evaluating alternatives of all sources to contribute in maximizing profits and resources allocation.
  • Provide support to Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk, CRST and Capital Management functions within ALCM.
  • Designing effective mechanism/template for ALCM reporting, constantly streamlining the daily/weekly/monthly/ quarterly preparation process and provide feedback for process that can be improved to ensure efficiency.
  • Regulatory engagement on ALCM matters.
  • Coordination, preparation, and management of Climate Risk Stress Test exercise, by obtaining update of OJK guidance, direction and outlook, understanding NGFS and other climate risk stress test standard, coordination of the CRST work in HBID, consolidation of the CRST reports altogether with Risk, Functions and Businesses, liaise with Global and Regional team for alignment and leveraging SME support

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Undergraduate, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related business discipline.
  • Minimum working experience of 5 years.
  • Having understanding in assets, liability and capital management would be advantage, however this is not mandatory.
  • Demonstrates ability to assess Financial and Risk trends, both internally and externally.
  • Project management skill is an advantage.
  • Accounting/Finance background with good analytical skill and strong business acumen.
  • High ambitious mind set as well as a team player and willing to go above and beyond to assist in achieving high quality outcomes, even in circumstances under high pressure / tight deadlines.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, motivation and energy levels
