The Opportunity:

In Wholesale, we heavily use Power Platform (i.e., PowerApps, Power Automate Desktop, Power BI, etc.) to deliver our solutions. These solutions should follow software development best practices and governance including sound design, well-written code with appropriate documentation, testing, and maintaining new and existing solutions in accordance with HSBC standards. The Analyst Intelligent Automation is responsible for developing solutions to help automate and digitalize business processes across different journeys in an agile environment

What you'll do?

• Engaging stakeholders to understand their digital and automation needs. Assist to perform opportunity assessment and Proof of Concept for new use cases.
• Translate business requirements into future state processes, high level solution design and documentations required across HSBC governance.
• Assist to formulate digital project business case, present the project and solution design in governance meetings with the support of Digital & Automation Delivery Manager
• End-to-End implementation of digital and automation solutions with Power Platform capabilities, such as Power Apps, Power Automate/ Power Automate Desktop, Power BI, etc.
• Proceed and follow-up required approvals in accordance with HSBC standards.
• Perform code reviews in accordance with design principles and best practices.
• Assist to provide training in Citizen Development Programme.

Leadership & Teamwork 

• Effective communication skills are vital for managing cross-functional teams, Collaborating with stakeholders, and conveying project status and requirements.

What you will need to succeed in this role?

• Strong knowledge and proven successful track record in Power Platform and/or RPA technologies, and their use case assessment, implementation & delivery lifecycle.
• Applicants should have an IT / CS / Tech background with either a relevant bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery approach.
• With hands on experience on one of below Power Platform capabilities or any market leading automation/ digital tools: 
• Power Apps
• Power Automate/ Power Automate Desktop
• Power BI
• RPA (e.g. Blue Prism/ UiPath/ Automation Anywhere)
• VBA
• Proficient in MS Office, Teams, Confluence, Jira and/or Monday.com.
• Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.

• Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
• Exam PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer
• Blue Prism Developer Exam (AD01)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE
• SAFe Product Owner and Product Manager Certification
