We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Communications Manager, GPS and GTS
Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, GPS and GTS, the role holder will be responsible for supporting and executing impactful, creative and insight-led internal communications strategies that support the strategic priorities of HSBC’s Global Payments Solutions (GPS) and Global Trade Solutions (GTS) businesses.
The role will be critical in the communications planning process as they will manage the runway of in-flight activity for the businesses they support and manage the relevant digital and in-person channels – including leadership communications, mass emails, live events and distribution lists.

In this role you will:
• Support the implementation of effective employee and leadership communications programmes that support GTS and GPS
• Manage internal channels to ensure important business insight and information is communicated to employees and customers/clients without over-crowding channels
• Source and provide locally relevant stories to feed the local, regional and global channels
• Support the communications of strategic change within GPS and GTS
• Deliver end-to-end logistic support to all leadership events to world-class standards
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• The role holder will need to have a high degree of resilience and ability to thrive under pressure
• Strong communications skills, particularly writing and event management
• Managing numerous high-profile events for very senior executives within HSBC will demand extreme attention to detail and a strong ‘can-do’ attitude
• The role will need to navigate and manage stakeholder relationships within a highly matrixed and truly global organisation
• Curious and interested in Communications, especially in the area of leadership communications.
