We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Data and MI Manager – Short Term Assignment (STA).
Role Purpose
The jobholder will help in delivering regulatory requirements and in providing management with various production and portfolio level reports, analysis, reviews and recommendations that aid in monitoring progress, setting targets, business process improvement, strategy review, and development.
Principal Accountabilities
Collections Support
- Provides support to HBAP and HDPP Collections functional areas, including special handling teams for Risk Mitigation, and HDPP Underwriting
- Provides reports to monitor Agency performance, commission and incentive and other Recoveries and Litigation related queries to support operations.
- Generate lists for review and handling of Operations Support teams and for checking of COL Compliance.
- Extracts customer information from positive bureau database and uploading them in the system to increase customer contact and increase collections.
Regulatory, CDD, and Fraud
- Supports compliance to audit requirements and regulatory mandates through timely submission of data to the regulators.
- Supports Global Standards requirements by providing lists needed for KYC checks and Customer Due Diligence reviews.
- Helps mitigate risks by generating and sending out fraud related reports that may assist stakeholders identify suspicious transactions.
Ad Hoc
- Attends to ad hoc MI requirements by utilizing different systems and provides MI support to different units of the department.
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Stakeholder engagement skills with ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.
- Experience working with data tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, SAS, Qlik, R, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms is a plus.
STA Duration : 6 months
