We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

Department - Enterprise Technology 

In this role, you will:

• Key DevOps and Cross Functional Engineer role responsible for support and developing components in Sql server/Postgres, Unix/Python as well as power Shell Scripting.

• The role will encompass accountability for delivering quality and performance efficient code components. This needs to be supported with requirement gathering, application design, development and testing through to production implementation, and support/maintenance in production subsequently.

• Ensure strong operating environment in collaboration with multiple stake holders and Third-party management teams.

• Provide key inputs on latest DevOps and Agile development methodologies, innovation and transformation, automations and have the ability to evolve, modify and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction

• Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change

• Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team

• Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered. Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Graduate degree/ Bachelor of engineering with 8-12 years IT experience.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to discuss technical, functional requirement and coordinating on various deliverables. Experience in mentioned technical and functional requirements.

• Strong knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Network Administration, Experience in Performance Testing, Query Strong Knowledge of SQL/Postgres, Unix/Python Scripting. Should be quick learner and good troubleshooting skills.

• and performance Optimization, Control M related knowledge is must for monitor caning tools.

• Development of   Python, DevOps tools, CICD pipeline (creating custom kernels), GitHub, JIRA, confluence, AppDynamics

• Maintenance of the Application services by regular patching, version upgrades, service monitoring techniques by collaborating with vendor where needed.

• Ready for support coverage over weekends and out of office, on call support on demand basis.  This is very much required in ever changing and very strict regulatory timelines.

• Candidates with having Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Yarn knowledge will be an added advantage.

• Candidates with Hybrid Cloud knowledge as project will be moving to cloud solution in near future.
