We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Division Head, Business Development.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

• Lead, manage and motivate a team of Business Development Managers in accordance with the overall strategic directions of the Bank
• Maximize revenue and customer value extraction from the top decile of the extant book portfolio
• Formulate and implement effective business plans, directing resources to achieve business targets and identify potential business opportunities in Business Banking
• Ensure good implementation of customer engagement strategy by providing suitable financial services, maximizing service efficiency to extant book customers
• Foster synergy between relationship management team and Business Centre and encourage right-segment of customers based on their banking needs
• Drive desired sales culture and Omni-Channel Strategy implementation. Provide structured feedback and recommendations on Omni-leads and latest market trends
• Coach and develop team to ensure high level of service and sales standards is maintained
• Ensure compliance to internal and regulatory requirements on sales, operations, business development and credit standards

To be successful you will need

• University graduate with extensive commercial banking experience and exposure in sales, new business development, preferably with experience in leading a sales team
• Seasoned business development skills and perfect understanding of commercial banking products and services 
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, with good command in Mandarin preferred
• An established track record in winning new business and growing business income from existing customers
• Proven ability to innovate and deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
• Strong leadership and sales management skills; Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, and excellent communication skills
• Relevant investment and insurance licenses are required
