We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Role is part of the China DCM team in HBCN to originate domestic and Panda debt financing business (including loans, bonds and ABS products) and ensure the completion of transactions and internal deal execution process.
To work with the global DCM team and HBCN coverage team to develop relationship with a number of target clients.
To provide support to the Global and Regional DCM team on update of the domestic debt market conditions and dynamics.
To develop working relationship with relevant regulators on implementation of the regulatory requirements for the business
Acting as principal point of contact internally with coverage, DCM and GM teams for completing transaction execution
Act as the centre of excellence to develop, implement and promote business strategy and risk management initiatives for the onshore DCM business

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Proven ability or aspiration to originate and execute transactions in the domestic debt markets
A team player and self-starter who can proactively reach out to relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of proposals and completion of internal process.
Strong English language capability both written and verbal.
Satisfactory working knowledge of the products, and a good network of contacts across all business areas.
Satisfactory record of proactively developing and originating client solutions.
Good understanding of internal and regulatory requirements.

Employees on selected front-line roles which support building and maintaining customer relationships need to serve 18 months before being eligible to submit internal job application without getting line managers' written endorsement. These roles have been identified to include (across all bands): RMs in CMB / GB / RBWM; Sales in GTRF / PCM / GM, Client Management team in PCM, Client Services team in HSS.
Employees on RBWM Teller position need to serve 12 months after the individual has obtained all the required licenses (including 反假币证书etc.), before being eligible to submit internal job application. Otherwise, written endorsement from line managers is required.
