The main mission of CLM Ops team is to extend measures to fight money laundering, financial crime, tax evasion and terrorism financing. The role of Senior Operations Manager is to directly manage team of Senior Specialists/Specialist and act as Deputy of VP, CLM Ops. This role requires robust support in production and performance management area, driving and overseeing a wide variety of highly prioritized strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will also include collaboration with other departments (OT, Transformation, Branding. L&D, MCM etc.) and communication within the department. Moreover, this person will act as a main point of contact or escalation point for our main business partners.
What you’ll do
- Directly manage operations teams in line with business expectation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide clear directions to the team inspiring and motivating team members to achieve their performance.
- Promote a positive team culture, encourage open communication, and ensure high level of engagement.
- Act as a Deputy of VP, CLM Ops and lead/oversee projects assigned by the Line Manager.
- Assure transparency of operations, proper capacity levels as well and fungibility across the team.
- Monitor and evaluate performance against set goals and metrics.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Work in tandem with the Quality Control team to ensure quality profiles emanating from the team and address quality issues to meet the established performance standards.
- Work effectively with key stakeholders to ensure mutually satisfactory resolution of key issues and act as a single point of escalations for main markets.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of workflow, customer service, personnel development through various initiatives like process re-engineering, training, sharing best practices etc. in conjunction with peers and line management.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Understanding of KYC/CDD, financial regulatory environment, and AML risk implications.
- Excellent prioritizing, planning, and organizing skills.
- Effective communication skills - Verbal and written.
- Proven experience of successfully managing and developing a team across a similar set (CDD/KYC) of processes.
- Drive efficiency removing non-value add and waste practices.
- Timely identification of operational risk.
- Experience of managing multiple projects.
- Be capable of building strong relationships with both internal and external partners and work effectively in a time pressured environment.
- Creative thinking and effective decision-making skills.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 16 500 PLN - 18 500 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
