SSCC has launched an initiative to create fungible pools of staff, by creating synergies between different teams.
This will be across CC, Fraud & Collections to help manage any peaks in volumes. The Workforce management teams would study trends & identify areas (in advance) where this cross support / fungibility would be applied. This would enable the bank to enable resource liquidity & be available for our customers more consistently and derive financial benefit alongside customer experience.
The Opportunity:
Be trained to handle contacts from customer across multiple products, propositions in two distinct markets/ functions and has acquired specialist skills.
What you’ll do:
- Trained to handle contacts from customer across multiple products, propositions in two distinct markets/ functions and has acquired specialist skills including but not limited to the following:
- Provides high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by resolving the customer query at first contact. Listens to the customer and establishes needs to offer relevant and financial solutions.
- Responsible for achieving individual key performance indicators whilst maintaining appropriate operational risk control and compliance in all activities.
- Provide high quality customer contact by identifying additional needs for both existing and new customers, ensuring HSBC brand values are upheld.
- Ensure all activities, transactions and sales adhere to prevailing regulatory standards (if sales are included)
- Acts as a role model for our Group Values and Behaviours (We Succeed Together, We Value Difference, We Take Responsibility, We Get It Done), supporting colleagues and customers to deliver superior customer service through these values.

Exit from the Fungible Pool (Opt out)
- In the event that the staff does not meet the minimum requirements of beneficiary market /function, they will be subject to underperformance management, which includes coaching, performance management plans and other corrective actions.

What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Excellent service and customer need fulfil skills.
- Excellent job knowledge across proposition and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in languages (English).
- Fair understanding on overall SSCC structure and how different department work together.
- Fair leadership potential and basic skills including coaching
- Microsoft Office skills, knowledge or experience in data mining tool is a plus.
