The Opportunity: 

Provide operations, and services support for all corporate actions, and income events.


What you’ll do:

Impact on the Business
  • Run (AVALOQ) system reports and receive depositary reports via SWIFT, post etc. concerning Corporate Actions
  • Review External vendor reports (TELEKURS) to ensure all corporate actions have been received
  • Send instructions to depositories where required ensuring deadline dates are met
  • Create all necessary (AVALOQ) system entries for securities and cash movements
  • Create T/T payments where required
  • Log all new Corporate Actions from various sources in Bank’s Corporate Actions system
  • Monitor outstanding Corporate Actions to ensure timely completion
  • Investigation of securities, and cash reconciliation differences
  • Investigation Corporate Actions queries, and errors

Customers / Stakeholders
  • Liaise with Client Services concerning Corporate Actions affecting their clients
  • Liaise with Treasury concerning Corporate Actions affecting Bank Investment Portfolios
  • Ensure where required replies received in good time from Client Services / Treasury

Leadership and Teamwork
  • Back-up other colleagues of the team in accordance with back-up arrangements
  • Train new staff with hands-on daily trade processing and settlement operations

Operational Effectiveness and control
  • Ensure trade processing activities comply with all relevant Bank policies, procedures, GSM, FIM and DIM

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multi-task
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Considerable flexibility in working varying shifts to support European business hours, which will normally be from around 4.00 pm – 01.00 am


What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Knowledge of VBA is an advantage
