The Opportunity:
As the Procurement Operations Assistant Manager, you will lead day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) operations, ensuring timely processing of invoices, employee reimbursements, and intercompany charges. You’ll enforce strong internal controls, drive standardization efforts, support offshore AP teams, and provide operational insights that support the delivery of an efficient, accurate, and compliant payment environment.
What you’ll do:
- Lead AP operations ensuring timely and accurate invoice and T&E claim processing
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policy compliance, and risk mitigation measures
- Manage relationships with offshore AP teams and ensure SLA/KPI performance
- Serve as escalation point for complex vendor or employee payment issues
- Review payment authorizations, GL postings, and account reconciliations
- Support standardization, automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Prepare performance and exception reports (e.g., vendor aging, suspense account positions)
- Participate in system enhancement projects, UATs, and training initiatives

What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AP, procurement operations, or finance shared services
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong working knowledge of AP systems and tools (e.g., Oracle Fusion, SAP, Tradeshift)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
- Proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and process improvement
