Your career opportunity
You’ll lead delivery of sourcing and third-party risk (TPR) initiatives, using your SME knowledge to shape practical outcomes and ensure governance, controls and timelines are met. Working across Procurement/Sourcing, Risk, Legal, Operations and Technology, you’ll drive end-to-end execution—from scope and mobilisation through to implementation and closure—balancing pace with a strong risk and control mindset.
What you’ll do
- Lead projects and workstreams across sourcing and TPR, defining scope, outcomes, deliverables, timelines and governance.
- Provide SME input on sourcing/TPR requirements, ensuring alignment to policy, control expectations and operational resilience needs.
- Build and manage integrated delivery plans, dependencies and critical path; drive execution and remove blockers.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to agree approach, decision points, ownership and implementation steps.
- Manage RAID proactively, escalating with clear options and recommendations to support timely decisioning.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Procurement, Risk, Legal, Operations and Technology to ensure consistent delivery and adoption.
- Produce senior-ready updates and materials (papers, packs, dashboards) that clearly articulate progress, risks and decisions required.
- Support implementation and closure, including readiness checks, evidence capture, and handover into BAU where applicable.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- 5–6 years’ experience delivering change as a Project Manager, ideally within sourcing, procurement, vendor management or third-party risk.
- Strong working knowledge of sourcing lifecycle and TPR concepts (due diligence, risk assessments, controls, ongoing monitoring).
- Proven ability to lead cross-business delivery in a regulated environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong governance and delivery discipline: planning, RAID, dependency management, and clear reporting.
- Confident facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including driving decisions and managing constructive challenge.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce crisp, senior-friendly materials.
- Analytical mindset: able to simplify complex information into clear actions, priorities and outcomes.
- High accountability and ownership, with a focus on sustainable outcomes and control effectiveness.
