We have a unique opportunity for you to join the CTO Vendor Management team as Third Party Risk Analyst to play a pivotal role in implementing risk management policies, frameworks, etc. You will be required to monitor third party risk management lifecycle end to end, and act as a key point of contact to Global Third-Party Risk Officer, and Head of Vendor Management to support the adoption of the Group’s technology plan.
What you’ll do
- Review and monitor Third-Party Risk and performance related issues at the engagement and Vendor level.
- Support Third Party Engagement Managers, Case Managers and Vendors during cyclical reviews (e.g. QBR, Performance reviews, Risk Assessments, Third Party Cyber Security Reviews, Business Continuity Reviews, etc.) to ensure timely deliverables of any remediation actions.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs.
- Maintain transparent communication with all relevant Stakeholders, Third-Party Engagement Managers, Risk Owners and Accountable Executives to ensure awareness related to Third Party issues and escalation where decision/issue is of significant materiality or regulatory importance.
- Respond to analysis, MI and reports produced by various global teams and liaise with a large range of Stakeholders including:
- Operations Executives
- Members of Regional Forums
- CTO Senior Management and Operational Risk Senior Stakeholders
- Internal and External Auditors / Local Regulators
- Risk Domains’ Representatives and Risk Stewards
- CTO Business Continuity Plan Writers, Department Heads and BCIM Stakeholders
- Cybersecurity Team
- GTPM Hub
- Global TPRM Team
- Vendors
- Business Managers / PoC assigned to Vendor management from assigned platform.
- Follow Third Party Risk framework and assure adherence to policies and including actively tracking and managing ongoing use of risk capturing tools and utilities.
- Ensure ongoing communication with the Third-Party Risk Officer and Head of Vendor Management regarding any identified third-party risk exposures
- Adapt to Target operating model practices across all core processes.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Extensive Third-Party Risk management background preferably with good understanding of technology (over 5 years’ experience at a management level)
- Vendor management with 5 years’ experience
- Expertise in cyber security domain is an advantage.
- A good understanding of HSBC, its markets and the regulatory environment would be a huge advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills required - excellent organisational, influencing and commercial skills.
- High effectiveness in working with all levels of management and staff in a matrix environment.
- Ability to adapt well to multi-cultural and diverse work environments.
- Ability to manage resources in the most effective way to achieve cost/service levels.
- Strong Relationship management and risk management skills.
- Experience with TPRM tools (e.g., Coupa, ServiceNow)
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 15025 PLN - 21500 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
