Principal responsibilities

  • Be a Sales Manager (GPS) responsible for MNC portfolio with focus on Greater China corridors, manage on the marketing, selling of domestic and regional cash management solutions to the Bank's Corporate and Institutional client base
  • Responsible for supporting the Sales Head with sales activities by engaging in initiatives and projects to bring in new revenue streams for the bank.
  • Work collaboratively with regional and global sale managers in identifying business opportunities for both inward and outward referrals.
  • Work cohesively with other Global Payments Solutions units (Product and Client Management) and other areas of HSBC (RM, GM, GTS, SSV, etc); and support the ongoing development of Global Payments Solutions business in Thailand.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing and business development especially in GPS area.
  • Competent knowledge of banking products and systems with strong selling skill and a consultative selling approach.
  • Possess managerial/leadership, analytical and high-level presentation skills with effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to liaise effectively with personnel across functions.
  • Ability to meet challenging budget and to work under high pressure environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude to customer-service handling.
  • Fluency English and Mandarin is mandatory.
