We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Finance: Business Risk and Transformation.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate within GCOO Finance function and you will be responsible for supporting GCOO Business Risk and Transformation Finance team in providing accurate forecast and Management Information reporting and incisive analysis to aid strategic decision making, and critical prioritization decisions. 
  • Accountable for making sure GCOO Business Risk and Resilience, GCOO Transformation, and Finance partner closely to provide forward looking analysis on financial performance, taking into consideration changes in macro-economic factors and the impact on business model and performance to help the business proactively make decisions and take actions.
  • Supporting financial forecasting cycles and annual budgeting for GCOO Business Risk and Resilience and engaging closely with the GCOO COO team on the accuracy of forecasted data. This is integral to being able to make strategic decisions.
  • As the core GCOO Finance team is small it is key to leverage assistance from the broader Finance community, improve the exiting processes and identify efficiencies to be more effective. As such you will engage with senior stakeholders within both GCOO and Finance.
  • You will be part of the infrastructure finance leadership team which will give you significant exposure which in turn will support with your continuing professional development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of Business Risk and Transformation.
  • Strategic Financial Reporting experience.
  • Demonstrable experience within Cost Management and/ or Cost Analysis.
  • Experience of directing, navigating, inspiring and motivating a team.
  • Collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical; being able to bring the policy, strategy, initiatives and narrative to life (e.g., presenting management information to a wide range of stakeholders/ senior management).
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority, businesses, and geographies).


The base location for this role will be London and with a hybrid working pattern.
