We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Regulatory Reporting.

This GCB4 Head of Regulatory Reporting is a key team member in the Chief Control Office (CCO) team. The CCO team has overall responsibility for the market risk management, controls, governance and reporting.
The role provides critical support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in managing and maintaining oversight of regulatory reporting on behalf of the entity. Across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM) business there are multiple regulatory returns of varying levels of complexity required to be submitted across different regulatory bodies requiring critical oversight.  

In this role, you will:

•    Have ownership and oversight of regulatory reporting requirements across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man business, including leading any entity wide governance regulatory reporting requirements.
•    Oversight of 1LOD regulatory change initiatives and including regulator engagement where required, ensuring appropriate governance and supporting processes are in place.
•    Identify and escalate issues ensuring to support on regulatory updates/ notifications where required.
•    Provide leadership of the regulatory reporting function, ensuring senior management have visibility of the entity risks and carrying out effective ongoing controls. 
•    Own Regulatory Reporting Controls, Regulatory Reporting Inventory System (RRIS) and procedure library.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Proven background in risk and controls with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory reporting framework
•    Understanding of the CIIOM regulatory environment and reporting requirements with experience of working with and influencing senior management and external stakeholders, and managing and delivering cross-functional programmes with a good understanding of the project lifecycle 
•    Strong leadership abilities, solid interpersonal and communication skills, strategic awareness and commercial acumen
•    Ability to work on several projects, prioritise tasks while delivering on time and able to filter and prioritise multiple demands, resolve conflicts, and develop consensus
•    Can think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts with the ability to implement a monitoring and control framework and to produce meaningful insight
